According to the magnesium-aluminum-chromium spinel castable and the preparation method thereof, the magnesium-aluminum-chromium spinel castable is uniform in melting loss, free of internal oxidation phenomenon, small in oxidation weight loss rate and good in slag corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and scouring resistance in the test process of a 120T matte PS converter in the Zijinbronze industry, and the average service life of the magnesium-aluminum-chromium spinel castable is 150 furnaces.
