The invention discloses inspection equipment for the bottom of a bridge and a use method.The inspection equipment comprises a detection ring, an ultrasonic flaw detector, a camera and a plurality of climbing devices, the ultrasonic flaw detector and the camera are detachably mounted on the inner side of the detection ring, the climbing devices are distributed on the outer side of the detection ring, and the detection ring is formed by connecting and splicing a plurality of connecting blocks end to end; the outer side of the connecting block is integrally connected with end teeth, one end of the connecting block is integrally connected with a connecting ring, and the other end of the connecting block is provided with a telescopic connecting rod; the climbing device comprises a rotary driving assembly, an electric push rod, a first adsorption assembly and a second adsorption assembly. The climbing device can climb and move upwards along the surface of the bridge pier column so as to drive the detection ring to move in the length direction of the bridge pier column, and can rotate in the circumferential direction of the bridge pier column, so that an ultrasonic flaw detector and a camera can perform crack flaw detection and picture shooting on the whole surface of the bridge pier column respectively; manual detection is completely replaced, and the efficiency is high.
