The invention discloses a deep seawater taking device and method.The deep seawater taking device comprises an armored hose, a signal transmission assembly, an underwater inlet valve and a seawater filtering device, the armored hose is composed of a hose body and an armored layer additionally arranged outside the hose body, the armored layer is used for providing a cable channel and tensile load bearing, and the signal transmission assembly is arranged in the armored layer; the signal transmission assembly comprises an underwater inlet valve switch control cable and other signal transmission cables, the underwater inlet valve is arranged at the bottom end of the armored hose, comprises a piston, a pressure type spring and a movable sliding rail and is controlled by the signal transmission assembly, and the piston is driven by the pressure type spring to slide along the movable sliding rail to achieve opening and closing of the valve. The structure and method of the deep sea water taking device are simplified, the water taking process is simple and easy to operate, the water taking cost of existing deep sea water is greatly reduced, cost reduction and efficiency improvement of deep sea water taking are achieved, and economic and efficient development and utilization of deep sea water are achieved.
