The invention belongs to the technical field of construction auxiliary tools, and provides a supporting piece for steel structure floor construction and a using method thereof.The supporting piece comprises a base located at the top of a lower flange plate of I-shaped steel, and the top of the base is connected with a vertically-arranged rod I; the joist is positioned at the bottom of an upper flange plate of the I-shaped steel, and the bottom of the joist is connected with a vertically arranged rod II corresponding to the rod I; and the distance between the rod II and the rod I is adjustable. In addition, a reinforcing clamping piece for clamping the lower flange plate and the base is further included, and the additional reinforcing effect is achieved. By arranging the base, the rod I and the rod II with the adjustable distance, the joist and other structures, in the using process, the distance between the rod I and the rod II is adjusted so that the supporting piece can be located at the positions of an upper flange plate and a lower flange plate of the steel beam, connection of the supporting piece and the steel beam is achieved, the working face is enlarged for later floor plate construction through the arrangement of the joist, construction operation of workers is facilitated, and the construction efficiency is improved.
