The invention relates to the technical field of bridge drainage, in particular to a drainage device for municipal bridge water supply and drainage and a using method thereof.The drainage device comprises two water drainage pipes, the two ends of each water drainage pipe are a butt joint end and a connector end respectively, and limiting rings coaxial with the water drainage pipes are fixed to the circumferential outer walls of the two ends of each water drainage pipe; wherein the butt joint end of one water drainage pipe is connected with the joint end of the other water drainage pipe through a connecting assembly, the connecting assembly is located between the two limiting rings and comprises two fixing rings of a semicircular ring structure, the inner diameter of the fixing rings is consistent with the outer diameter of the water drainage barrel, and the diameter of the fixing rings is larger than that of the water drainage barrel. Two strip-shaped grooves are formed in the circular ring face of the limiting ring, a plurality of water drainage pipes which are distributed in a straight mode can be assembled, the water drainage pipes are in threaded connection at the assembling positions firstly, then the fixing rings are used for reinforcement, the connecting positions are effectively sealed, and compared with the prior art, generation of water leakage nodes is effectively reduced.
