The invention discloses a flood prevention device for a gate of a transformer substation. A first groove is formed in the inner wall of the base, and a flood prevention body is arranged on the inner wall of the first groove. By arranging the base, the first groove, the second groove, a first threaded hole, a second threaded hole, a threaded rod, a first rotary knob, a telescopic cylinder, a telescopic assembly, a spring and a flood prevention main body, when water impacts the device, the flood prevention main body starts to move in the second groove, and meanwhile, the telescopic assembly and the spring are extruded at the same time; at the moment, a telescopic assembly and a spring can control a waterproof baffle to restore to a required stable state within a very short time, the impact force of water flow to the flood prevention device is reduced, and therefore the flood prevention device is prevented from being collided by the impact force of the water flow; the connecting process of the flood prevention body and the base is completed, and meanwhile the stability of the flood prevention body is guaranteed.
