The invention discloses a narrow foundation pit overwater steel support mounting platform and a construction method thereof. The installation platform is formed by assembling module boxes which are produced in a standardized mode. According to the construction method, the assembled steel support mounting platform is hung and placed in a narrow foundation pit, the scabbling equipment, the steel supports and the winch are stored on the mounting platform, the working procedures of scabbling the wall surfaces of the underground diaphragm walls and erecting the steel supports are sequentially completed from top to bottom along with descending of the water level in the pit, and finally the mounting platform is disassembled, and the steel supports are hung out of the narrow foundation pit and reused.
