The invention aims to solve the connection problem of a steel structure, and discloses a connecting structure of a reinforcing layer telescopic arm truss and an outer frame column in an assembly type steel structure, the connecting structure comprises a truss structure, a connecting cylinder is mounted at the lower end of the truss structure, a second protective sleeve is mounted on the surface of the connecting cylinder, and a second sealing ring is mounted on the lower side in the connecting cylinder in a sleeving manner. Second screw holes are evenly formed in the lower sides of the surfaces of the connecting cylinders, a water pump is fixedly installed in the middle of the surface of the truss structure, a second connecting pipe is installed at the water inlet end of the water pump, a connecting ball is fixedly installed at the outer end of the second connecting pipe, inclined cylinders are symmetrically installed on the left side and the right side of the truss structure, and telescopic pipes are connected between the inclined cylinders and the truss structure. The outer side of the surface of the inclined cylinder is sleeved with a first protective sleeve. By means of a water supply mode, cold and hot control can be carried out, then the connection position can be further tighter through a control mode of thermal expansion and cold contraction, and connection between steel structures is enhanced.
