The invention discloses a design scheme for additionally arranging a stereo garage outside a residential building of a residential quarter and a structural connection mode of the stereo garage and the residential building. The stereo garage (2) is built on the side portion of a built high-rise building (1) in a vertical upright structural mode in a manner of being attached to a wall, and the stereo garage (2) is built according to the vertical arrangement scheme that parking spaces on the two sides of a middle elevator form a group. Operation of the stereo garage (2) is effectively controlled by people outside the bottom layer of the stereo garage (1). According to the high-rise building (1) and the stereo garage (2), the combination of the high-rise building (1) and the stereo garage (2) can be reliable through a horizontal connection traction structure by key measures that the high-rise building (1) and the stereo garage (2) penetrate through a wall, and the position where the high-rise building (1) and the stereo garage (2) penetrate through the wall is close to or close to a key stressed steel bar within the thickness of the wall of the building; the specific position of the key load-bearing steel bar can be obtained according to data calibrated in a building structure design drawing or/and through on-site detection according to a metal detector. If the scheme is considered in a community, conditions can be created for solving the parking space problem.
