A composite window with a glass window sash and a screen window sash comprises a window lower frame, a window upper frame, a window left frame, a window right frame, viewing glass and an opening unit. In the opening unit, the glass sash moves up and down between double sliding rails composed of two glass sash groove rails, and the moving direction of the glass sash is perpendicular to the moving direction of the screen window with couplets on the peripheral frame. And the two are opened at different positions along the vertical direction. The glass sash, the string, the rotary drum, the spring and the glass sash grooved rail jointly form a glass sash manual opening system. And the screen sash slides along the left-right direction between an upper rail and a lower rail which are formed by the multi-section telescopic sliding rail and the upper screen rail. A complete couplet is arranged on the indoor faces of the four frames of the screen sash in one of a casting mode, an engraving mode, a drawing mode and a pasting mode.
