The invention discloses a road surface obstacle protection guardrail which comprises a support and a guardrail body, the guardrail body is arranged on the support, the support comprises one or more first stand columns, each first stand column comprises a first section and a second section, and the width of at least part of the cross section of each first section is smaller than that of the cross section of the corresponding second section; the guardrail comprises a first cross beam and a second cross beam, the first cross beam is arranged on the first section, and the second cross beam is arranged on the second section. The stand column is arranged into multiple sections, the widths of the sections are different, and the bending strength of the stand column is gradually reduced from the ground to the top in a segmented mode. The single stand column is high in strength, the steel consumption is greatly reduced, and the strength of the stand column and guardrail beam installation are both considered. When the device is close to an obstacle protection position during installation, the distance between the stand columns does not need to be increased for avoiding.
