The invention discloses an assembly type lateral force resisting bracket for a deep foundation pit profile steel support and a construction method. Comprising a stand column and a joist assembled on the stand column. At least one profile steel support is assembled on the joist; horizontal limiting devices corresponding to the two sides of each profile steel support are assembled on the joist; and a vertical limiting device is assembled on the horizontal limiting device. The problem that no supporting point exists in the horizontal plane of a deep foundation pit profile steel support is solved. The structure has the characteristics of simple structure, convenience in construction, complete assembly, high construction efficiency, reusability, low manufacturing cost, capability of greatly improving the bearing capacity of the deep foundation pit profile steel support and the like.
