The castable comprises tabular corundum, alpha-Al2O3 micro powder, rho-Al2O3, 96 silica powder, a water reducing agent, explosion-proof fibers and heat-resistant stainless steel fibers. Meanwhile, the invention discloses a preparation method of the castable for the dip pipe of the RH furnace, which comprises the following steps: firstly, adding 0.088 mm fused magnesia fine powder, bimodal alpha-Al2O3 micro powder, unimodal alpha-Al2O3 micro powder, 96 silica powder and a water reducing agent into a conical premixing machine according to the mass percent, and premixing for 30 minutes to obtain premixed powder; adding the tabular corundum aggregate, the explosion-proof fiber and the heat-resistant stainless steel fiber into a mixer according to the mass percentage, mixing for 2 minutes, adding the prepared premixed powder into the mixer, and mixing for 6 minutes, thereby obtaining the anti-explosion anti-explosion heat-resistant corundum composite material.
