The invention discloses a preparation method of a high-toughness wear-resistant WC composite material, and relates to a preparation method of a ceramic material. The high-toughness wear-resistant WC composite material is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 0.1 to 2 percent of GNPs-SiCw composite powder raw material and the balance of WC powder. The main process comprises the following steps: adding GNPs-SiCw composite powder raw materials into a liquid medium, carrying out ultrasonic stirring, and then adding WC powder to obtain a mixed solution; the mixed solution is subjected to ball milling, drying and screening, and ceramic composite powder is obtained; and sintering the ceramic composite powder to obtain the high-toughness wear-resistant WC composite material. According to the invention, the problem of bonding between different reinforced phases and the problem of difficult dispersion of the added whiskers are well solved, the use of strategic scarce resource Co is reduced, the mechanical properties and wear resistance of the WC composite material are effectively improved, and the application range of the material in the industrial field is expanded.
