The invention discloses a protective shed for steel box girder construction, and relates to the technical field of detection, the protective shed comprises two steel frame parts which are symmetrically arranged and are connected through a connecting rod, the other ends of the steel frame parts are rotatably connected with telescopic supporting arms, and the tail ends of the supporting arms are rotatably connected with end plates used for being connected with pier columns of a bridge. A sliding rail is further arranged at the upper ends of the steel frame parts, a plurality of springboards are laid on the sliding rail, every two adjacent springboards are locked through a locking part, every two closest springboards on the two steel frame parts are connected together through a folding type board set, and transverse displacement of the springboards can be limited. According to the pier column construction device, the space occupied by transportation is reduced, the transportation difficulty is remarkably reduced, the design of the telescopic supporting arms is adopted, the pier column construction device can adapt to pier column construction of different spans and can be repeatedly used, and the cost is greatly reduced.
