The invention discloses a road toe protection slope protection structure along a river and a construction method of the road toe protection slope protection structure. Slope toe piles are cement mixing piles and prefabricated square piles which are meshed in a staggered mode, and a horizontal foundation is made of mortar rubbles; geotechnical cloth is laid on the bottom faces of the branch bins, gabion nets are laid on the top faces of the branch bins, gravel-cobbles are filled in the branch bins, the upper edges and the lower edges of the geotechnical cloth are pressed by coping base plates and horizontal foundations respectively, the side edges of the geotechnical cloth extend to block belt foundation grooves, and the lower edges of the gabion nets bypass the lower portions of the horizontal foundations and the side walls of slope toe piles, then enter the top beams and are bound with slope toe pile steel bars and top beam steel bars together. The upper ends of the supporting steel bars penetrate through the coping base plate and then extend into the guardrail foundation, the lower ends of the supporting steel bars are bent at the same slope angle, then extend into the top beam and are welded to the slope toe pile steel bars and the top beam steel bars, and the middle portions of the supporting steel bars are parallel to the slope surface, welded to the anchoring piles on the lower side in a hooked mode and bound to the gabion nets on the two sides. The method is simple in construction, safe and reliable, the original roadbed is stabilized, and the effects of energy dissipation, scour prevention, water and soil loss prevention, silt collection and residue retention of the slope protection and foot protection are enhanced.
