The invention relates to a building external corner area stone facing and an installation method thereof. The building external corner area stone facing comprises a building body, keel frameworks fixed to the two sides of an external corner of the building body, and a first stone panel and a second stone panel which are installed on the keel frameworks, and the first stone panel and the second stone panel are installed on the keel frameworks on the two sides of the external corner of the building body respectively; a folded edge perpendicular to the second stone panel is arranged at one end of the second stone panel, a right-angle folded angle is formed between the folded edge and the second stone panel, the right-angle folded angle wraps an external corner of a building body, and one side of the first stone panel is spliced with the folded edge of the second stone panel. During installation, splicing is not carried out in the external corner area of a building any more, a splicing seam is transferred to the installation face where the first stone panel is located, the integrity and attractiveness of the external corner area are guaranteed, and the splicing difficulty and precision requirements are reduced.
