The invention discloses a construction method of a spanning type steel-concrete mixed bridge. The construction method comprises the following steps that firstly, a concrete box girder and a bridge foundation are connected and fixed; secondly, a temporary supporting frame is erected at the to-be-connected end of the concrete box girder, and the steel concrete connecting segments are hoisted to the temporary supporting frame for position checking and adjusting; thirdly, the concrete box girder and the steel concrete connecting sections are fixed into a whole in a pouring mode; fourthly, the steel box girders are hoisted to the midspan area of the overpass bridge, and welding operation of the steel box girders, the adjacent steel box girders and the steel concrete connecting sections is conducted synchronously; fifthly, after welding of the steel box girder is completed, follow-up construction is conducted; according to the construction method, the mid-span area and the end-span area of the viaduct are constructed respectively and do not influence each other, meanwhile, the concrete box girders and the steel concrete connecting sections form a whole through pouring, and the strength of the overall structure of the viaduct and the reliability of connection are guaranteed; through the construction mode, the construction time of the midspan area is effectively shortened, the traffic pressure is relieved, and the construction cost is reduced.
