The invention provides a later-stage adjustable hydraulic automatic flap gate which comprises a gate body, an opening and closing mechanism, a piston cylinder and a transmission assembly, and the opening and closing mechanism is used for driving the gate body to be opened and closed; the piston cylinder is vertically arranged, the bottom of the piston cylinder is communicated with an upstream river channel through a pipeline, a piston and a piston rod are arranged in the piston cylinder, the piston rod is located above the piston and can abut against the piston, the piston rod is connected with the transmission assembly through a connecting rod, and the transmission assembly is further connected with the opening and closing mechanism. And the opening and closing mechanism can be driven to operate according to the translation action of the plug rod. According to the flap gate, on the basis of the principle of communicating vessels, automatic adjustment and control over opening and closing or the opening degree of the flap gate are achieved through the height change condition of the water level of an upstream river channel. On the basis, the initial condition of the gate can be changed only by simply adjusting the height position of the plug rod connecting point, and therefore the requirement for flexible adjustment and control in later use can be met.
