The invention discloses light plastering gypsum capable of eliminating formaldehyde and releasing negative oxygen ions and a preparation method thereof.The preparation method comprises the steps that 1, preparation raw materials are prepared and comprise desulfurized gypsum, heavy calcium carbonate, glass beads, cellulose ether, a thixotropic agent and a retarder; 2, auxiliary additives are prepared, wherein the auxiliary additives comprise expanded vermiculite capable of releasing negative oxygen ions, a moisture-proof agent, a flame retardant and activated carbon powder; and step 3, sampling and inspecting the preparation raw materials and the auxiliary additives to ensure that each material does not lose efficacy, and uploading sampling records to a computer to ensure that traces can follow. The device has the beneficial effects that in the stirring process, the temperature and humidity in the tank body are detected through a temperature and humidity probe, detection data are transmitted to an electric control mechanism of the device, and then the interior of the tank body can be vacuumized, heated and dried by controlling a heating plate and a vacuum pump to act; and the use performance of the product is prevented from being influenced by the temperature and humidity in the environment.
