The invention discloses a foundation pit dewatering system and a foundation pit dewatering method for a water-rich sandy gravel stratum. The foundation pit dewatering system comprises a first pipe body, a second pipe body, a third pipe body and a filtering layer. The first pipe body is matched with the wall of the dewatering well; first filter holes are formed in the first pipe body; the second pipe body is arranged in the first pipe body; a second filter hole is formed in the second pipe body; the aperture of the second filter holes is smaller than that of the first filter holes; the third pipe body is arranged in the second pipe body; a third filter hole is formed in the third pipe body, and the aperture of the third filter hole is smaller than or equal to that of the second filter hole; the filter layer comprises a filter material filled between the second pipe body and the third pipe body. Therefore, particulate matters with larger sizes are intercepted through the first pipe body, and particulate matters with smaller sizes are intercepted through the second filter holes, the filter layer and the third filter holes, so that blockage is effectively avoided, and the drainage efficiency is ensured. The first pipe body can prevent the second pipe body, the third pipe body and the filtering layer from being damaged due to loosening of the sandy gravel stratum, and the stability and safety of rainfall are guaranteed.
