The large-span formwork supporting device comprises a first vertical rod, a second external threaded rod is arranged at the upper end of the first vertical rod, a third circular ring is connected to the joint of the first vertical rod and the second external threaded rod, and a first circular ring assembly and a second circular ring assembly are connected to the second external threaded rod from bottom to top; the two ends of the first circular ring assembly are each connected with a connecting rod assembly, the middle of a square steel pipe is connected to the second circular ring assembly, the upper ends of the two connecting rod assemblies are connected to the two ends of the square steel pipe, and a jacking assembly is arranged on the upper end face of the square steel pipe. The supporting device can be directly supported on a lower beam, the stability of the whole frame body can be kept, and the purpose of supporting an upper beam can be achieved. The method has the advantages of saving vertical rods and ensuring stable support of the frame structure beam.
