The invention relates to a grinding assembly and a kitchen waste processor. The grinding assembly comprises a grinding ring; the cutter disc is arranged in the grinding ring and can rotate relative to the grinding ring, a blade assembly is arranged on the disc face of the cutter disc and comprises a first blade and a second blade, the first blade and the second blade are staggered in the axial direction of the cutter disc, and first cutting edges are arranged on the outer edges of the first blade and the second blade correspondingly; and the first blade and/or the second blade can rotate relative to the cutter head under the action of external force, so that the first cutting edges on the first blade and the second blade which are staggered in the axial direction of the cutter head are matched to cut off a cut object. In the process that the cutter head rotates relative to the grinding ring, the first blade and the second blade are partially overlapped in the axial direction of the cutter head, so that the first cutting edges on the first blade and the second blade are matched to shear and cut off garbage such as flexible fibers, the garbage such as the flexible long fibers is effectively treated, and the kitchen garbage processor is prevented from being blocked.
