The invention relates to a steel fiber or oriented steel fiber reinforced epoxy resin adhesive and a preparation and application method thereof, and relates to the field of civil engineering. The steel fiber or oriented steel fiber reinforced epoxy resin adhesive comprises epoxy resin adhesive and high-strength steel fiber, mixing the high-strength steel fiber into the epoxy resin glue and stirring; stirring to obtain steel fiber reinforced epoxy resin glue; and the high-strength steel fibers are magnetized and oriented through magnetic orientation equipment to form the oriented steel fiber reinforced epoxy resin adhesive. According to the steel fiber or oriented steel fiber reinforced epoxy resin adhesive provided by the invention, the high-strength steel fiber can bear a bridging effect in the reinforced epoxy resin adhesive, and after the reinforced epoxy resin adhesive cracks, the high-strength steel fiber can bridge a substrate at a fracture position and continuously bear a load effect, so that the ductility of a structure is improved, and sudden brittle failure is avoided.
