An anchor cable reducing cage comprises at least two ring-shaped fixers, an axial sleeve, anchor cables, a releasing mechanism, connecting ribs and a center rod, a plurality of anchor cables are arranged in the axial sleeve 1, anchoring devices are arranged at the lower ends of the anchor cables and fixed to a bearing plate, the first ring-shaped fixer is arranged on the central axial sleeve in a sleeving mode and can slide, and the second ring-shaped fixer is arranged on the releasing mechanism. One end of the releasing mechanism fixes the first ring-shaped fixator and enables the first ring-shaped fixator to slide under the action of the releasing mechanism, the vertical ribs surround the center rod, and the movable connecting ribs in the first group are movably connected with the upper ends of the vertical ribs and the joints on the circumference of the first ring-shaped fixator respectively. The second group of movable connecting ribs are respectively connected with the lower ends of the vertical ribs and a plurality of joints on the circumference of the second ring-shaped fixer; and the limiting device is used for limiting the release of the variable-diameter cage by a restraint rope or a restraint pin.
