The intelligent building access control equipment comprises an information identification terminal, a gate machine main body, an opening and closing device, a lifting device, a photoelectric sensor and a control device, the information identification terminal is fixedly arranged at the movable end of the lifting device; the lifting device is mounted in a mounting groove of the gate main body; the opening and closing device is arranged at a notch of the mounting groove; when the photoelectric sensor senses that a person is nearby, the control device controls the opening and closing device to be opened and controls the lifting device to push the information identification terminal out of the mounting groove, and the information identification terminal can approve personnel information so as to control the gate main body to act. As the information identification terminal is hidden in the mounting groove when not in use, the weather environment is avoided, the information identification terminal can be well protected from being eroded by rainwater and dust and also can be prevented from being exposed to the sun, and the service life of electronic components is prolonged.
