The invention discloses a roof garden flower pond system which comprises a planting module used for planting green plants, a filtering module used for filtering leakage water and/or rainwater of the planting module, and a collecting module which comprises a semi-open collector used for collecting rainwater and a collecting pipe, one end of the collecting pipe is connected with the collector and the planting module, and the other end of the collecting pipe is connected with the filtering module. One end of the collecting pipe is connected with the water storage module, the other end of the collecting pipe is connected with the filtering module through a water discharging pipe and used for discharging rainwater and leakage water to the filtering module, and the storage module is arranged below the filtering module and used for storing filtered water filtered by the filtering module. Meanwhile, by monitoring the weight change of the planting module, the water storage state is known, sufficient water storage can be guaranteed, the situation that roots of the green plants are soaked due to excessive water storage can be avoided, redundant rainwater is stored and slowly released to moisten the green plants, and the effect of reasonably utilizing rainwater resources is achieved.
