The aged steel slag is adopted to replace natural aggregate for construction of road engineering, so that the problem of shortage of stone is solved, the service quality of the pavement can be obviously improved, and the treatment cost of the steel slag is saved; according to the steel slag anti-skid wearing layer asphalt mixture, the steel slag mixing amount is 75%, the wearing layer is good in rut resistance and water damage resistance, and the volume stability and the low-temperature stability meet the standard requirements.
