The bucket opening mechanism comprises a driving part, a steel wire rope, a lever, a chain and a bucket bolt, the driving part is arranged on an A-shaped frame of the excavator, one end of the lever is hinged to a bucket rod of the excavator, the bucket bolt is arranged on a bucket of the excavator, one end of the steel wire rope is connected with the driving part, and the other end of the steel wire rope is connected with the chain. One end of the chain is connected to the lever, and the other end of the chain is connected with the bucket bolt; the driving part comprises a support, a motor, a winding drum shaft, a winding drum, a gear and an inner gear ring, the motor is an alternating-current variable-frequency motor arranged on the support, the winding drum shaft is arranged on the support and is in the same direction as an output shaft of the motor, the winding drum is rotatably arranged on the winding drum shaft in a sleeving mode, and the gear is arranged on the output shaft of the motor in a sleeving mode. When the motor rotates, the gear and the inner gear ring are kept in an engaged state so as to drive the winding drum to rotate around the winding drum shaft. The driving process is stable and reliable, and large impact is avoided.
