The invention relates to an assembly type suspended ceiling single-layer keel hanging structure and an installation method thereof, the assembly type suspended ceiling single-layer keel hanging structure comprises a main keel, hanging rods, hanging pieces, caulking pieces and suspended ceiling plates, the main keel is longitudinally arranged, the caulking pieces are transversely arranged, and the main keel is connected to a building floor through a plurality of hanging rods; the upper end of each hanging piece forms a folded plate which is bent inwards, the lower end of each hanging piece forms a clamping tongue, the hanging pieces are hung on the two sides of the main keel through the folded plates, the hanging pieces are connected with the caulking pieces through the clamping tongues, and the lower ends of the caulking pieces are connected with the ceiling plate. The main keel and the ceiling plate can be installed only through the hanging piece and the caulking piece, the number of parts involved in the whole assembly type ceiling is small, the installation difficulty is lowered, later maintenance and disassembly are facilitated, the occupied space of the top of the ceiling is small, and the space utilization rate is increased.
