The invention relates to the technical field of heliostats, in particular to a heliostat stand column and a heliostat, the heliostat stand column comprises a stand column body, the stand column body comprises a fixing end used for being fixed in the ground and a mounting end used for being connected with an external connection component of the heliostat, and the heliostat stand column is characterized in that at least one part of a circumferential enclosing face of the fixing end of the stand column body is in a plane shape; and/or at least one part of the circumferential enclosing surface of the mounting end of the upright post body is planar. Compared with the prior art, the geometrical shape of the stand column forms the anti-rotation face to be matched with the ground to achieve the anti-rotation purpose, an anti-rotation piece does not need to be additionally welded, thermal deformation caused by welding is avoided, the production process is simplified, the installation efficiency is improved, the manufacturing cost is saved, and the structure is simplified; furthermore, the installation end of the stand column and the external connection component of the heliostat are assembled in an attached mode through at least one plane, then holes can be formed in the two planes respectively to achieve fastener connection, and the defects caused by welding are avoided.
