Additional area monitoring for building doors
A system (1) for monitoring access to a building and/or to an access-restricted area (36) in a building comprises a building door system (2) having a building door (2a), an electronic closing device (50) and an identification device (6) for detecting authorization credentials of an object (20). The building door (2a) can be unlocked by means of an electronic closing device (50) with valid authorization credentials and can be brought from a closed position into an open position in order to permit access to an object (20) at the building door (2a). The sensor system (8) monitors an access area (Z1, Z2, Z3) comprising a specified access range of the building door (2a) in order to detect a person (4) in the access area (Z1, Z2, Z3). The control device (24) generates a warning signal when the building door system (2) permits the access (20) of an object and the sensor system (8) detects the presence of a person (4) in the access area (Z1, Z2, Z3), the building door system (2) blocking the permission of the access upon receipt of the warning signal.
