The invention discloses a construction method for installing a steel longitudinal beam and replacing a suspender of a concrete-filled steel tube tied arch bridge, which relates to the technical field of bridge construction and comprises the steps of installing the steel longitudinal beam, unloading cable force of an original suspender, dismantling the original suspender, installing a new suspender, tensioning the suspender and the like. The steel longitudinal beams are installed between the steel cross beams, it is guaranteed that the steel cross beams cannot generate large displacement when an old suspender is dismantled, and beam falling accidents are prevented. A transfer beam, a lower joist and a temporary sling facility do not need to be installed in the construction process, and when the upper end of the suspender is detached, only a small construction platform needs to be erected on an arch, and a jack and other auxiliary measures are adopted; when the lower end of the suspender is detached, a rope or a temporary hanging basket is adopted to prevent the lower anchor head from falling off; according to the method, the construction procedure is simplified, the construction efficiency is improved, meanwhile, the overall stability of the bridge is improved by installing the steel longitudinal beams, and the reinforcing effect is achieved.
