The invention discloses a vehicle control method which comprises the steps that when a vehicle door is in an open state, whether a target object exists in a cabin or not is detected; and under the condition that the target object exists in the cabin, in response to the operation that the vehicle door is closed, the vehicle window at the preset position is controlled to be opened, so that pressure relief is conducted in the vehicle door closing process. According to the vehicle control method, in the process that the vehicle door is in the open state and the vehicle door is closed, according to the conditions of passengers in the cabin, the situation that air pressure fluctuation in the cabin possibly hurts eardrums of special passenger groups in the vehicle door closing process is considered, the vehicle window in the preset position in the vehicle is controlled to be opened for pressure relief, and the vehicle door is opened. And eardrum injury of the target object possibly caused by air pressure fluctuation when the vehicle closes the door is effectively prevented. In addition, existing parts of the vehicle are utilized, additional hardware does not need to be added, and the engineering cost is effectively controlled.
