Provided is a static electricity detection device capable of improving detection accuracy when detecting a user operation according to a change in static electricity. An electrostatic detection device (20) is provided with a sensor unit (21) that detects contact or proximity of a user's body with an electrode (23) and performs an operation determination on the basis of a detection signal (Sr) output from the electrode (23). A detection unit (33) of an electrostatic detection device (20) detects driving of an antenna (17) that communicates with a terminal (2) of a user. A setting unit (37) of the static electricity detection device (20) sets the operating state of the sensor unit (21) on the basis of the detection result of the detection unit (33).
