A multipurpose Internet of Things intelligent lock is composed of a lock catch assembly and an electric control lock body assembly, and the electric control lock body assembly can be connected with the lock catch assembly so as to lock a door cabinet type carrier; the electric control lock body assembly comprises a main lock shell. The control circuit board is connected to the centralized power supply or power supply battery assembly; the lock hook unit can be matched with the lock catch assembly so that the electric control lock body assembly and the lock catch assembly can be locked mutually. The driving mechanism acts on the lock hook units so as to switch the lock hook units; a door closing signal acquisition mechanism; an unlocking signal acquisition unit; and the data communication module is in communication connection with any one or more of the cloud platform, the local area network platform and the wide area network platform. According to the invention, the adaptability is good, and the assembly and use scenes are diversified; wire harnesses can be wired with open wires and concealed wires and are matched with steel and wood carriers; centralized power supply can be achieved, and a battery box assembly can be connected.
