The invention discloses a foundation pit support structure of a soft soil foundation and a construction method of the foundation pit support structure. The structure comprises a plurality of first steel piles which are far away from a foundation pit, are arranged around the foundation pit at intervals and are inserted into the soft soil foundation; every two adjacent first steel piles are connected with a first soil and water retaining wall which is formed by a first metal corrugated plate assembly, is inserted into the soft soil body foundation element and extends to form the first soil and water retaining wall; the structure further comprises a plurality of second steel piles which are arranged along the periphery of the edge of the foundation pit at intervals and inserted into the soft soil foundation, and every two adjacent second steel piles are detachably connected with a second soil and water retaining wall which is composed of second metal corrugated plate assemblies, inserted into the soft soil foundation and continues to form the second soil and water retaining wall. The top of the first steel pile and the top of the second steel pile in each pair of steel piles are detachably connected with a horizontal transverse connecting steel beam; and a plurality of steel strands and connecting steel pipe connecting structures are arranged between every two rows of steel piles. The inner row of piles and the outer row of piles are good in integrity, the bearing capacity is high, the safety performance is good, the work amount is relatively small, and the construction cost is relatively low.
