The invention relates to a retaining wall single-face formwork erecting structure of an ultrahigh steep slope and a construction method of the retaining wall single-face formwork erecting structure. The retaining wall single-face formwork erecting structure comprises a formwork arranged corresponding to the formwork erecting position of a retaining wall; the multiple rows of anchor cables are arranged in the height direction of the formwork at intervals, each row of anchor cables are distributed in the length direction of the formwork at intervals, one end of each anchor cable is anchored in slope rock, the other end of each anchor cable extends out of the formwork and is fixed to the formwork, and the anchor cables are tensioned through prestress so that the formwork can be fixed. The whole-length inclined strut steel pipe along the height of the formwork is not needed for supporting, the construction cost is reduced, and construction is more convenient.
