The invention discloses a prefabricated light inner wallboard which comprises a prefabricated base plate, a first wall and a second wallboard, a top beam sleeve is arranged at the top of the prefabricated base plate, a clamping mechanism is arranged in the middle of the top of the prefabricated base plate, a through hole is formed in the middle of the prefabricated base plate, a connecting steel bar is arranged on the first wallboard, and an inserting hole allowing the connecting steel bar to be inserted is formed in the second wallboard. The connecting steel bars are inserted into the through holes and the inserting holes and then are fixedly connected through locking nuts. The invention further provides a construction method of the prefabricated wallboard. The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, cleaning is conducted; s2, a prefabricated base plate is installed; s3, the clamping mechanism is disassembled; s4, the first wall plate and the second wall plate are mounted; step S5, grouting is carried out; the inner wall plate is composed of the prefabricated base plate, the first wall plate and the second wall plate, the weight of the inner wall plate is greatly reduced, the clamping mechanism is arranged on the prefabricated base plate, correction of the inner wall plate is facilitated, the disassembling and assembling steps of adjusting the inner wall plate through a crowbar and a reinforcing piece are omitted, and the inner wall plate is effectively protected.
