The invention discloses a folding type sun-shading and rain-sheltering device which comprises movable blades, a supporting frame and folding connecting rods. When the supporting frame on one side is lifted, the movable blades are connected in a rotating mode, the movable blades are changed into vertical placement from transverse placement, the multiple movable blades can completely block the through opening, the sun-shading and rain-sheltering effects are achieved, meanwhile, the movable blades can be driven to slide upwards through the connecting rings connected in a sliding mode, the folding connecting rods are compressed, and the movable blades are stacked together, so that the folding effect is achieved. The device is simple in structure and can be applied to the fields of curtains, balconies, roofs, solar panels and the like.
