The invention discloses a screen window assembly which comprises a screen window body installed in a window frame and a limiting assembly used for limiting movement of the screen window body, the screen window body protrudes towards the indoor direction to form a supporting column, and the limiting assembly can limit the supporting column on the screen window body and enable the screen window body to be in a suspended state. When the screen window is opened, the screen window is automatically closed by driving the limiting assembly to leave the supporting columns on the screen window body. According to the screen window assembly, the screen window can be automatically closed when the window is opened, the safety problems of accidental high-altitude object throwing and falling are avoided, mosquitoes and the like can be prevented from entering a room, and safety is guaranteed on the basis that indoor and outdoor air circulation is guaranteed.
