The process comprises the following steps: dredging a hole channel for steel strand penetration on a bridge; the steel strand is blanked, and a strand section is obtained; performing U-shaped segmented strand pulling on the stranded wire sections according to a preset strand weaving sequence; and connecting the two U-shaped stranded wire sections through an anchorage device. That is to say, the steel strand is firstly blanked to obtain the strand segment, U-shaped segmented strand pulling is performed in the strand pulling process, and finally the U-shaped strand segment is connected with the anchorage device to form the annular strand segment, so that manual strand pulling can be performed in a smaller construction space, and the strand pulling work of the steel strand in the small construction space of the large-span bridge is completed.
