The invention discloses a locking type folding pan head structure which comprises a pan head upper cover and a pan head lower cover, and further comprises a button and a limiting piece, and the end of a rod piece is hinged in a space formed by folding the pan head upper cover and the pan head lower cover; a button mounting hole is formed in the pan head upper cover in the axial direction, and the button is coaxially mounted in the button mounting hole and can reciprocate up and down in the axial direction; the limiting piece is positioned in a space formed by folding the pan head upper cover and the pan head lower cover, and is fixedly connected with the button; a positioning groove is formed in the end of the rod piece, and when the limiting piece is located at one of the upper dead center and the lower dead center, the limiting piece is embedded into the positioning groove in a matched mode to achieve positioning. The scheme has the beneficial effects that the locking structure directly acts between the pan head and the rod piece, so that the locking structure can be applied to various single pan head structures.
