The invention provides a sleeve grouting repair material for steel bar connection and a preparation method. The sleeve grouting repair material is prepared from 700 to 800 parts of cement, 100 to 200 parts of fine sand, 50 to 100 parts of coarse sand, 30 to 40 parts of expanding agent, 40 to 60 parts of superfine fly ash, 15 to 25 parts of silica fume, 4.0 to 5.0 parts of water reducing agent, 1.0 to 1.5 parts of retarder, 0.2 to 0.3 part of cellulose ether, 0.18 to 0.25 part of plastic expanding agent, 0.25 to 0.35 part of defoaming agent, 5 to 10 parts of rubber powder and 170 to 190 parts of water. The cellulose ether and the rubber powder are added, so that the water-retaining property of the material can be improved, and the material has relatively high flowability on the premise of ensuring that the material does not have the phenomena of sedimentation and bleeding; on the basis that the strength and the construction performance are met, the bonding performance between the material and steel can be improved; by adding the plastic expanding agent, the filling property of the material can be improved, and the bond stress between the steel bar and the sleeve and the material is increased.
