The invention discloses a manufacturing process of a large-size silicon carbide sand mill lining, which comprises the following steps: S1, manufacturing an inner metal mold and an outer metal mold: integrally manufacturing an inner bottom mold and an outer bottom mold according to the structure and parameters of the sand mill lining; s2, mixing by an extruder: preparing solid pug, wherein the solid pug comprises the following components in parts by weight: 80 to 85.5 parts of silicon carbide micro powder, 10 to 12 parts of purified water, 2.2 to 3.3 parts of silicon nitride micro powder, 1.0 to 1.3 parts of metal tungsten micro powder, 2.2 to 3.2 parts of manganese dioxide powder, 2.3 to 3.3 parts of titanium oxide powder, 3.4 to 4.4 parts of carbon black, 1.1 parts of graphite powder, 1.6 to 1.8 parts of dispersing agent and 6.8 to 7.5 parts of binding agent; the solid pug is stirred for more than 10 hours at the stirring speed of 20-50 r/min; the metal mold is installed on a ramming machine, the ramming speed is 1 minute/revolution, 500 g/circle of solid pug is evenly placed each time, ramming is conducted for 1 minute, it is guaranteed that the solid pug is evenly placed, and the surface of each layer is smooth and even after ramming; the manufacturing process is simple, ramming forming is adopted, and the production efficiency is high.
