The invention relates to an accessory for a lock, in particular to a shifting pin type lock cylinder. The invention aims to provide a lock pin which can be opened only by shifting the lock pin back and forth to move to a preset position and still stays in a key hole to block the key hole after the lock pin is shifted to an opening position, an opening channel is narrow and bent, quick theft opening is prevented from being achieved through tools or techniques such as key collision, tinfoil and a single hook, and the lock pin is convenient to use. In this way, the shifting pin type lock cylinder improves the anti-theft performance of a lock. Due to the fact that a key, a tinfoil, a single hook and other theft opening tools or techniques can only do work in one direction to achieve quick theft opening, the lock pin moving back and forth cannot be acted, and theft opening cannot be achieved.
