The invention relates to a vertical rotation construction method for a steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge. The method comprises the specific steps that S1, auxiliary measures are adopted for construction, wherein auxiliary measures comprise a steel girder splicing platform, a temporary hinge, a buckling and hanging system, a tower top crane and a horizontal jack assembly; s2, symmetrically and vertically assembling partial segments of the main beam; s3, symmetrically and vertically rotating partial sections of the main beam; s4, mounting the rest sections of the main beam; s5, stay cables are installed; and S6, removing auxiliary construction measures. The tower top crane and the buckling and hanging system are used for achieving vertical assembling and symmetrical rotating construction of the main beams of the steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge, the assembling speed of the steel beams is high, the linear control precision is high, large overwater hoisting machinery is not needed, temporary supports are arranged in water, the number of temporary facilities is small, economical efficiency is good, and a navigation channel is not occupied; the device is wide in application range, is suitable for crossing complex obstacles such as high-speed rails and highways or water bridge construction, and is suitable for single-tower, multi-tower and cable-stayed bridges.
