The ecological restoration system comprises a shore connection biological reef structure constructed at a shore connection position of the coastal zone; the low-beach biological reef structure is constructed in a low-beach area of the coastal zone and located behind the shore-connected biological reef structure; the first restoration indigenous vegetation is planted in the low-beach area of the coastal zone and located behind the low-beach biological reef structure; the second restoration indigenous vegetation is planted in the front half section of the middle-high beach area of the coastal zone; the tidal creeks are constructed in the front half section of the middle-high beach area of the coastal zone at intervals in the direction perpendicular to the coastline; the tidal pond is constructed in the rear half part of the middle-high beach area of the coastal zone; and the ecological transformation protection slope is constructed on the seawall protection slope. The invention further discloses a restoration method of the ecological restoration system for the eroded coastal zone. The method has the advantages of obvious treatment effect, obvious ecological support effect, outstanding disaster reduction effect and the like.
