The system comprises a fly ash pretreatment system, a raw material powder preparation system, a kneading and extruding system and a drying and calcining system, the fly ash pretreatment system comprises a stirring kettle, a filter press and a drying machine; the raw material powder preparation system comprises a crusher and a mixer; the kneading and extruding system comprises a kneading machine, a vacuum pug mill and a vacuum extruder; and the drying and calcining system comprises a microwave drying instrument and a high-temperature calcining furnace. The preparation method has the beneficial effects that the cordierite honeycomb ceramic heat accumulator with high market value is prepared by taking the fly ash as a main raw material and adding cheap auxiliaries, and a new way for recycling and high-valuing the fly ash is developed.
