The invention relates to a preparation method of a cerium-zirconium solid solution and a method for regulating and controlling the cerium valence state ratio and the oxygen vacancy concentration of the cerium-zirconium solid solution, and the specific method comprises the following steps: (1) regulating and controlling the ratio of a hydrogen bond acceptor to a donor, and preparing a eutectic solvent; (2) adding the cerium precursor and the zirconium precursor into the eutectic solvent, and heating and stirring for 3 hours; and (3) carrying out centrifugation, water washing, alcohol washing, drying and roasting on the suspension obtained in the step (2) to obtain the cerium-zirconium solid solution. According to the method, different eutectic solvents are adopted to regulate and control the structural properties of the cerium-zirconium solid solution, the preparation system has the advantages of low price, mild conditions, greenness, controllability and the like, the cerium valence ratio and the oxygen vacancy content of the cerium-zirconium solid solution can be regulated and controlled, and the application prospect is good.
